FRACTEL cap or Legionnaire: how should I choose?

The first difference is coverage. A regular cap shades above the face; a Legionnaire adds a neck flap for routes where you want more rear-neck coverage. M-DAYBREAK uses FLOWMESH; L-NEPTUNE and L-SAHARA are REPREVE neck-flap styles. Shape does not establish every material or protection rating. Check head fit, flap length, turning visibility, wind hold and interaction with a pack or hood. Plan sun protection for your face and other exposed skin separately.
