Why Another Sunglasses Brand?
The sport sunglasses market was dominated by Oakley and Luxottica for decades with barely any change — high prices, limited customization, no warranty. Ali saw an opening: Oakley-level performance at half price, fully customizable, lifetime warranty. Crowdfunded instead of VC-backed — letting future users vote.
8KO Lenses and Lifetime Warranty
8KO is SunGod's 8-layer lens tech: anti-scratch, anti-oil, UV400, contrast enhancement, anti-fog, polarization (optional), impact-resistant, hydrophobic. Co-developed with Italian and Japanese optical labs. Lifetime warranty is the biggest differentiator — any damage, any reason, free replacement, even if you stepped on them. Ali's logic: instead of ad spend for new customers, use lifetime warranty to retain existing ones forever. SunGod's repurchase rate far exceeds industry average.
