From Born to Run to LUNA
In 2006, Barefoot Ted traveled to Mexico's Copper Canyons, ran ultramarathons with the Tarahumara people, and learned huarache sandal-making from Manuel Luna. He returned to create LUNA Sandals with modern Vibram outsoles. The brand name honors Manuel Luna and the Tarahumara running heritage.
